  • RAM Energy Announces Reduction on Planned Capital Expenditures

Given the rapid decline in commodity prices and in the interest of preserving our proven and potential oil and natural gas reserves, the Board of RAM Energy has decided to immediately cease expenditures on oil and natural gas development and will avoid such expenditures until commodity prices return to normal and reasonable levels.

RAM Energy’s focus for the immediate future will be on maximizing production from existing proved developed producing properties, minimizing lease operating expenditures and optimizing the sale price of produced commodities.

RAM Energy remains confident in the value of its assets, particularly in Fayette County, Texas where it has over 100 potential additional drilling locations, all held by production with no near-term lease expiration issues or drilling commitments.
